Rémi Decker (° 1983) is a Belgian musician, self-taught multi-instrumentalist of international renown. He raised up in a musical environment and began playing the bagpipes at the age of 10.
Driven by his enthusiasm and curiosity, he developed his craft as an autodidact. He has won several competitions and was regarded as a young virtuoso. Whistles gained over the years its rightful place along the bagpipes, followed later by a personal, quirky, and efficient guitar style. In 2017, Rémi helped launch the cineconcert collective “Musique à Voir” creating shows that blend Foley and music for animation films.
Continually flirting with both tradition and creativity, his projects are bursting with originality, virtuosity and emotion.
Talent and humility make of Rémi Decker an outstanding artist.
